USC VERBO

visual identity | publication design

Verbo is the official publication of the University of San Carlos that aims to reconnect USC alumni to its alma mater and serve as the official mouthpiece of the university administration. This research aimed to design Verbo's visual identity to better represent the publication and create a style guide that will keep its brand consistent for years to come. The resulting visual style represents the excellence and prestige of the University while still retaining the USC brand identity across Verbo's contents, features and plans. Its design language is contemporary and minimalist to make the publication design more accessible to a multigenerational audience.

Team: Anton Lin and Patricia Rafanan

The project is an output from the study "A Proposed Visual Identity of the University of San Carlos Verbo Publication" under the ADV 4202 Advertising Arts Thesis 2 course of the USC Advertising Arts program.
