While jeepneys continue to be the main form of public transportation for most Cebuanos, Jeepy! was conceptualized to help address Cebu's chaotic jeepney system. For first time commuters, it can be easily overwhelming and discouraging to navigate Cebu's public transportation without a clue of which route to take. This is where Jeepy! comes in.
Jeepy! aims to be a community-driven app that allows commuters to easily search for jeepney routes to their destination reliably. Other functionalities include nearing-your-destination notifications, saved locations, jeepney route directory, and community reports. A true trusty companion for Cebuano commuters.
For this concept app, a fun and vibrant visual identity was developed to present Cebu's busy and buzzing society. The logo icon is a jeep with a funky sans serif typeface. Colors that pop such as purple, cyan, yellow, and neon green make up the color palette. Graphic elements in the form of routes accent the graphics.
Along with the visuals are mid-fidelity wireframes and screens showcasing the app at work.
